Meet team tiny.

We’re Hanja and Mia, best friends for over 15 years and now the duo behind the Tiny Barrel Club. Our story started with late-night karaoke, copious amounts of condensed milk, and always a glass (or three) of wine.

Since then, we have built our lives around creativity, connection, and good food - with wine always at the heart of many memories.

Tiny Barrel Club is our way of sharing that magic - intentional, playful, and best enjoyed together.

Not sommeliers. Not wine snobs. Not influencers.

Just two besties who love sharing bottles with friends.

The curious creator

Mia grew up with a dad who loved wine, so her curiosity started early. After a career gap, she jumped into a bucket-list adventure: a wine harvest. That experience showed her how creative and exciting wine could really be.

Mia is:

  • An indoor plant lover with far too many houseplants (her cat thinks it’s a jungle).

  • Also big on DIY: From pottery to furniture, she’s always making something.

  • Wine vibe: Loves light, chillable reds and the beauty of aged whites.

She believes wine should be fun, approachable, and full of joy, not rules or intimidation.

Storyteller and sustainability soul

Funny enough, Hanja also grew up with a dad who loved wine and she started sneaking tiny sips at an early age (with permission, of course). She studied piano performance as well as sustainable development and can attest to the integral part of wine (but more importantly the people she enjoyed it with) in her getting through her studies.

  • As a music lover, Hanja plays violin in an orchestra and performs regularly.

  • A voracious reader from a young age, she has more books than she’ll ever finish and is usually somewhere reading.

  • Wine vibe: Die-hard red wine drinker (Syrah, Malbec, Cab), but lately, also into crisp, dry whites in summer (Riesling and Gewürz).

She sees wine as stories in a bottle. Stories about people, places, and shared moments.

Why Tiny Barrel Club?

Our Mission

Strip away the pretence and make wine about what matters - connection, curiosity, and fun!

Tiny Barrel Club means…

    • Wines too small or niche/experimental for the supermarket.

    • Bottles chosen with intention (so you don’t have to stress in the wine aisle).

    • A community of people who just want to drink something good together.
